ERIK JENSEN is the founding editor of The Saturday Paper. His first book, Acute Misfortune: The Life and Death of Adam Cullen, won the Nib Prize for Literature and was shortlisted for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award and the Walkley Book Award. He was formerly a writer and editor at The Sydney Morning Herald, where he won the Walkley Award for Young Print Journalist of the Year and the UNAA’s Media Peace Award. He has written for film, television and the stage, and for titles including The Monthly and New Statesman. His forthcoming book is a short biography of the writer Kate Jennings, and he is in the process of directing a song cycle based on her first collection of poems.
